Benjo, do it, actions + photos speak louder than words.

All egos should be keep in a secure locked box.

IMHO, competion is good though and it drives people to up their game, the good thing is it is all to do with the I5 engine that we're all interested in.

Thanks to all who post their improvements, tips, products, and web sites of note on this site.

I'm not knocking that dude. Fair play to you. This isn't anything personal!

I'd appreciate if you left your sales pitch out of this thread now please. People are aware of your products, so you've achieved your goal. Like I said, if I can't beat your price significantly on the head flange then I won't offer it as part of the group buy, & will instead let people order that part from you.

Force fed any hole will work... doesn't make it more efficient.

What are the plans for the back side of your flange? I would recommend to o-ring it:

That flange is puuuurdy! Much nicer than the JO one I copied. At the moment the back of my flange is just flat so a standard IM gasket can be used (see attached pic). I could easily add the o-ring grooves if required, but I'm struggling to get the unit cost down on that part already. Adding the o-ring grooves would obviously bump up the costs further. It's a shame, cos that's a really elegant solution. I imagine it might be a bit of a faff fitting the IM with O-rings in place though, as I expect they'll want to pop out of the groove due to the tight rad between the port-to-injector bore transition. Does anybody have any experience with this Hansen flange?

Anyhoo, here are the numbers for my JO replica flange:

            1 off £500.00
            3 off £380.00 each
            5 off £320.00 each
            10 off £290.00 each

To make it significantly cheaper than those flanges already available from other suppliers I would need something like 20 people to buy one.

Here are the costs for my plenum baseplate:

            1 off £250.00
            3 off £190.00 each
            5 off £160.00 each
            10 off £150.00 each

All prices quoted above include VAT, & because the machine shop is about 15miles from me, I'm happy to go collect the parts when they're done.

So, can any seriously interested parties please reply on this thread with the quantities of each part they want, & the country they'd like them sent to? I'll have to get back to you all with postage costs as it'll obviously vary depending on whereabouts you hail from. It would be good to get a reply that looks something like this:

            Head Flange x 1
            Plenum Baseplate x1
            UK

Any lurkers or secret squirrels out there can of course PM me, & I'll just add the extra numbers to my running totals on this thread, so everyone knows where we're at.

Oh, one final thing: does anybody want the end(s) of the plenum baseplate to be rounded? See attached screenshots. These would obviously have to be quoted again.

            Ben

                      Hi,

i hope i dont sound stupid, but what are those parts needed for?
If you want to make your own input manifold or what?

                      Dont really understand.
                      Kind regards
                      Michael

Yes . Is the basepart if you need to make your own intake manifold.

Ok, so at the moment only Colin is interested. Since he said he wanted one a while ago now, I'll work out postage costs & look at placing an order next week. Hopefully there'll be some more takers over the weekend & you can all get a better deal :-)
