K24R Breather system upgrades

So, another year at Castle Combe for Audi Driver and another year with no oil reaching the catch tank thanks to the swirl pot - I haven't emptied anything other than water out of the tank since the latest system was fitted 3+ years ago, so I think that proves the point.

Combe is the perfect proving ground, as it combines hard right corners with full throttle exits, which is the perfect storm for the OE system to become overwhelmed. Add in hard braking and semi-slick tyres and you can put a litre of oil out of the engine in a couple of sessions!

If you're going to take a car on track then get a full kit on there and keep that oil in your engine and not your intercooler! If it's just for the road, then save a little money and stick with a more basic kit

A LHD kit is in development, so watch this space! 3Bs can use a basic system and I'm happy to design a catch tank for one...

If people want AN fittings instead of stub pipes, then this can be done but obviously adds to the cost, due to the fittings being £££.

how much? fitting it up with tubing is way nicer than hoses

Depends on what your requirements are.

I use oil system hose as it'll last forever.

some hose will be needed because of the movement of the engine, but if it can be kept out of sight a bit by using nice tube it looks a lot better nothing wrong with some eye candy

I have a return to inlet swirl pot and catch tank left for a RHD ABY or ADU.
