      Paul,

Be a mate and give us a status report on the interest here. I would have thought you would be bombarded by people. Do you think a GP is on or not?

Guys, my car is finally at the mechanics now getting its fuel pump sorted (thanks for that Doug). It's also having a service done on it.

In regards to the GP, erm, I'm still tinkering on the idea to sell the car in order to raise some very much needed cash. I was hoping to get rid of it by Decembers end, but that seems highly unlikely now (dunno if thats a good thing or bad  )

Anyways, getting to the point; Paul how long do you think before these hoses are made up? And would they work out as cheap as, or maybe even cheaper than the standard hoses? Only reason why I ask is that I dont wanna spend heap loads on the car and then to go and sell it and lose out.

Oh, and if you are still in need of sample hoses give me a shout as my car is gonna be off the road for a couple of weeks.

Let's bump this up a bit. Nothing seems to be happening.

Yeah I last spoke Dave @ SFS a couple of weeks back. He seemed pretty snowed (like me) and said that he would get back to me with news on viability from the toolmakers.

Paul, hows the progress of these hoses? I am having problemswith that acordian type hose from IC to IM, I have split one of the steel rings on the new one already!!! after seeing it on the rollers im not surprised, it goes to about twice its original size at 1.5 bar! Also the one next to the TB is showing signs of perishing and dont want to have a boost leak again, that was a right ****.

I know you are really busy and Chrimbo has got in the way so no pressure! Just where are they? LMAO.

Tom, you can get away with using a straight piece of samco instead of the accordian pipe. QST fitted me one over a year ago, had no probs.

This is what I did, let me know if you want me to check the size for you, from memory though it fits nice at the small end and stretches for the large end, it stretched a lot easier than I thought it would. As it stretches sideways it looses length though so you need to cut it longer than it looks.

                        Tom,
just had a check, its 60mm bore size and 190mm in length,
are you still using your original turbo to ic hose?

Thanks for the sizes! The turbo to IC hose is the original but has no leaks. It has been cut about as it has a s/s t-piece in the middle of it for the DV.
