LOL yeah, you cut the 2 hoses for the aux rad short and plug the ends with these, I'll be mounting purple leds in them for selling to the lads, for that "through-the-grill bling effect".

Guys, I already have intake pressure testers made of aluminium available for 45 Euros+ shipping but no one seemed interested in them until a few months ago, apart from Paul...

Really? Even when the aux rad is in parallel to the main radiator - so you would have a bypass pipe round the main radiator?
Mark is running with them blocked and Lee is running with them bypassed - what's the difference?
John - they look superb - I'll happily test them - well test they fit just now, but will be a couple of weeks until I'll see how it runs.
Mihnea - when did you tell us you had a pressure testing kit? I would have bought one of you but I have replaced most of the pipework now, so I'm pretty sure it's ok.
You can also use these to block MAF to turbo pipe for the oil catch tank mod. And also a big market for people with other cars who want to fit dump valves instead of their standard DV's since they are 25mm dia. the maf to turbo pipe for oil breather is 16 or 19mm off top of my head.
Hi all I have already made one and leigh has got it for the turbo hoses, and i am makin another to isolate the inlet from the engine so only the air lines will be tested. I make them out of polypenco, nice light and tough with 2 adapters,----1 for a car compressor connection, another for a workshop airline system (1/2"bsp).

I would use a bypass pipe, stopping the flow from its natural route could be causing the block or the head to get too hot. Think about it, if your heater matrix split then you would disconnect the two hoses and link them together(well i would, but then im a grease monkey), same princible with the aux rad.

The one for the t piece (lower part) needs to be a bit smaller in diameter as I think mine is a bit tight - it was tight to get in and looks like it might split. I cut that part to about 1.5 inches from the thick hose.
I can take a pic/measurement if you want?
Ant - well worth doing - especially if you are going for more power as it makes access easier to hoses that might pop off.
