Heated seats installed, how to guide...

Ok then, i suspect this is only implemented on US spec cars so i doubt you will find a connector for it under the dash.
Pin 1 Black/Blue comes from the Memory control indicator light, and connects to fuse number S12 (15 amp) in the main fuse box.
Pin 2 Brown/Yellow comes from the Memory control unit, and connects to the seatbelt warning system.
Pin 3 Brown/Red from seatbelt micro switch to seat belt warning relay
Pin 4 Brown/Green from seatbelt micro switch to seat belt warning relay
I guess Pin 1 will need 12v power if you have the memory control unit, pin3-4 you can ignore unless you want the seat belt warning buzzer.91CQ20v - Gone to a new home

I know in the UK heated seats were not an option on the RS2.
Is the element present in the Recaros that came with the car?
Would be good ro get those "blank switches" filled.sigpic

wiring colours
Hi everyone
Since last post have managed to get a loom from joe in the US, It came with connectors and wiring for seat memory so this afternoons job is to split them and retape so I only have the seat heating part.
I've bought a set of the heater elements for the seats new from the stealers, price not actually too bad. Base heater came with 2 wires and backrest came with 4 wires taped together in 2 lots of 2. Does anyone know which wire goes to which pin number in the seat plug, I bought new seat plug which has space for the 6 wires
Any help would be appreciated on this as its the last part of the jigsaw, Paul J1995 RS2 Nogaro

I have another loom here for sale with elements.
Hi gang,
I have another complete heated seat loom here with relays, dash switches, and ELEMENTS! Also, if anyone is really up to it I have a rear seat element they could put in the back for the kids!
The loom is from a 200 TQ Avant but the installation is basically the same method with only slight variation. Power and ground. Run the loom, install the switches in the dash, plug relays into the grid. The element install is a pain as one might guess taking the leather covers off to do it.
Complete package.....
1X LOOM
2x RELAYS
2x SWITCHES
4X FRONT SEAT ELEMENTS
4X REAR SEAT ELEMENTS
I would like around $425 plus shipping for the package.
Email me direct for quick reply.... audicoupeparts@yahoo.com

How often do these looms come about? I had a car with a loom that I intended on removing, however I sold it before I had chance to remove the loom and thus am in search for another, already have heated seats so no elements required.
Cheers

loom availability
Hi Ross.
Did you email me the day before about a Bumper? Do you live in the UK or USA?
I may have a spare loom from a friend parting out a 90 Sedan which is the same as a coupe heated loom. He is not sure if he wants to sell it or save it for a future project.
I have another 200 tq sedan loom but it will not be avialable till next spring when I part the car out. Can you wait till then?
If I get anoyone interested in just the heated elements in the package I have right now I will sell you that loom.
