          1) Can't answer your first question mate as i haven't got my S2 yet, and of the year hopefully.
          2) Don't support any teams from Brum, but i prefer the Blues to Aston Vile .
So are you a good old Baggies fan?

So did you manage to find a decent S2?
And also if you find a good garage could you let me know for future reference .

Might have found an S2! heh

Hope it doesn't bite me in the butt and turn out to be a bad egg, but my current car is ready to go to the scrappers in the sky!!! 2 bar boost will do that

Hell no, Born Blue through and through!!

Hmm will do, think i might start a new thread now asking fellow midlanders thw question.

Good luck, hope it turn out to be a goodun .

My mate did some ringing around a few weeks ago and he said he found a specialist that quoted him around £140 for a full service. I'll see if i can find out who it was.

Yeah that would be a good idea about the thread plus I would like to now if there are any more S2/RS2 owners from the Midlands on this forum .

Oh yeah, almost forgot. I paid £500+ each for these crappy efforts. Part of a bill for £4500 where I was ripped off well and truly (before I found the old yahoo S2 forum).

Shoulda bought a porsche instead all them years ago....

                  Doh!

Oh well, ya live n learn (and become bankrupt on the way...)

@Paul, they look like aftermarket cats, as they normally are only half the size of originals to cut costs. You are damn good at being stitched up. Fancy becoming a customer at my garage??

Cheers Tom. Always good to know I'm a ripe juicy target to be bent over when a garage sees me coming I think they're off a common or garden 80, or as you say, some aftermarket crap that reduces horsepower and does nothing to emmissions. No wonder not passing mot... *sigh* Still, I'm getting there. I've been quoted £12k for a blown bulb so I'm busy saving up for that right now
