I received a reply from the contact I made to ARP. I'm going to work with them to get a better washer included in the application for our stuff.

Does this help? It shows the Audi washer on the left and the ARP one on the right.

I wonder if ARP uprated their washers? I'll have to check mine when they arrive.

Wow, I forgot about this thread. I guess I should update my last post to say that nothing ever happened with that.

Hmm o.k I'll have to invest in some SQ washers, does anyone know the ID of the SQ washers?

Are they 11 or 12 mm?

No you won't. Your kit will have the correct bits.

Pembo, Anle's post had measurements of the washers is there any chance you could measure the SQ washers and post them up?

                            Pembo your a star! thanks

Nononsense obviously knew something he has measured the Eurovan washers in the ARP kit and they are 22mm.

                            I bow to his knowledge.

I found a cheap way to get bigger washers.
Had a 2.5 liter (12valve) engine from a BMW E30 in garage and took it's original washers!

The bmw washers where even slightly bigger than original 3B washers. I don't know if the bmw washers will fit all bolts, because I only used 4(I had lost original four 3B washers somewhere). I'm just thinking that at front the washers might hit the cam chain, but I'm not sure.
