  • Mot fail on fuel lines

S2 failed the mot on fuel lines. How big of a task is it . Any advise would be welcome.

Look for the Guide, it has been well documented before and if you don't need to go right up into the engine bay, not too bad to do yourself at all. I have done mine a number of years ago, with no further issues.....

            I. Will take your word for that . At my age if I manage to get under the car I won’t be able to see them. Ha ha .
On another note are the or lines 8mm.
and , are there any pipe mounts available.

I know the feeling, that's why I bought a two post lift!
Get it to me in West Wales plus some beer tokens and I will do them for you. I've done two recently

And yes, all 8mm. Audi Tradition do the clips and have rubbers from another model that you can trim.

I used that cupranicol (sp?) stuff years ago on my avant and it was really easy to do and im no mechanic by any means. You will be fine. The stuff I used seems to have held up really well too.

Yep, cupronickel, same as good brake line material.
