Not necessarily, all the info and fitting details for the BMW part are on the 20v.org site. I dont know exactly how long its been on there but i saw it when i first got my S2 so thats 6 years ago for starters. Im sure thats long enough for testing.

I would be interested Rob - add me to the list
I have the bmw one on and i have a bad warble at about 90ish (great physical speed limiter when you arent sure if its going to part company and join you in the cabin )
I am sure if you get it true then it will be fine but if the price is good I'll get the BMW (i prefer to call it a Febi/bilstein centre mount btw ) off the car
The non-oem part only had adjustment on one arm and as a result depending on the individual car, it will depend if its in spec without issue or not. Convinced mine is slightly off centre and/or the rear diff but not had the time to get the car off the ground again to sort it.sigpic

I am no expert on props, the propshaft clinic is! thats what they told me ages ago when I rocked up with bmw one i bought from Pete Reeve (never said it was not a Audi one when ordering). Clinc would not fit it. The genuine one is available whats the problem?
Terry,
Last time I had one it was around £105. hope to do better for bigger order.

I had the BMW part before Rob fitted the OEM on it. The BMW part is quite frail and has to be fitted backwards, otherwise the propshaft still moves too much and noise can be heard. Once fitted backwards the noise stops but the shaft itself is open to more movement than the OEM part allows. I thought that was a good enough reason to fit the one audi makes.
