Where Is It??????

Hi all,

Now i feel a bit silly asking the question peeps, but i'll come strait out with it, WHERE IS THE BATTERY TOO????????????????

The battery has run down over a day, think left the radio on and then went to jump start it open bonnet, where has it gone, now i hav'nt owned the car long and when i have looked under the bonnet before i just took it for granted that it was there, till tonight!!!!! i have a 93 aby engine car, i have looked all over for it, the boot,bulkhead, blah blah..

If it's a coupe it will be under the back seat.

Only if its an ABY, on a 3B they're under the bonnet...

Ehm Beetie that is not true, on my 1992 3B the battery is also under the backseat. Actually i think it is always under the seats on the coupe's, not sure however.

Its just the uk 3b's which have it under the bonnet.

I thought it was only 1991 models that had it under the bonnet. Mine being March 91, means that its under the bonnet, and it is always in the damn way. It wouldnt be so bad if the tray unbolted, but its welded in!

I have a theory about the 3B battery placement: Seems to me that the LHD 3B's have the battery under the backseat, RHD 3B battery is under the hood (but only 1991 model year?). Haven't seen a LHD 3B with battery under the hood. My 1991 S2 has it under the back seat. And now, out to the car and try to change my suspect wastegate.

My 93 3b's battery is under the bonnet, and that must have been one of the last 3b's made.........

Oh, OK then. Must be all UK 3B's had under bonnet batteries then.
