I have now bought a 01E CBL tranny from a late Audi S6. I hope this one will last a bit longer. I have broken 2 5-speed trannys this season!

What do you think about these?? I only hope my 18`s will fit over them...
365x34mm orginal R8 discs! The R8 Calipers are orderd from Germany.
      The bottle is 1,5 litre!!

Holy sweet mother of invention - that is quite a brake disc... I think you will be first to graft R8 parts onto an S2 - full credit to you - heheheh. Do let us know how that goes at the front and how you plan to balance out the rears next.

If you haven't seen the threads - search for '8E0 rear brakes' if something like 280mm or 300mm discs are interesting for you. The 280 option is easy on the Coupe.

I heard that someone (Corey or Bry ????) is looking at putting 996monos on at the rear with those same 300x22 disks from 8E0 (B6 S4/Cabrio) and custom carriers - THAT would be a good balance by my gut feel for your monster fronts. Dunno what they are doing for handbrake though - unless it retains a 2nd caliper just for that ?

I know that nobody has done it before, thats one of the reasons I wanted to give it a try! I have not made up my mind what kind of brakes I will go for at the rear, but I`m cosidering some different alternatives. If somebody has some tips for a rear brake solution I would be very pleased!

I`ll probably go for some small Wilwood calipers for the handbrake! 300mm+ rear brake upgrade is something I`m looking for..

My mate has b5 rs4 brakes that are 360mm that he is looking to get rid of, but the point is that he says they will fit with 18", so you may be cutting it close but I think it will fit no problem

And knowing that R8 discs are going on an S2 is making me tingle in special places

Went to the local post office to get a package from Germany today.
THIS IS WHAT MY EYES MET!

                      This bottle is only 0,5L!

If this doesnt fill out my 18" wheels, NOTHING will!
