Well she is finally road legal. flew through the MOT not even a comment. Only running .8 bar at the mo but feels very lively though.. really pleased with the twin intercoolers lag is vertually none existent.

You can feel the temperature dif when touching the face of the intercoolers after a run. Up to Automark late May to unlock the real power... Fun Fun Fun...

Whats was your theory behind the twin IC over 1 large one out of curiousity.

Your low lag would also be down to the Wagner FMIM the drop of pipework length would be greatly felt.

Oh well I'm still looking for a replacement for my Wagner. Got a few ideas :mischeif:

I think the two IC route was because of the lack of space in the front end for a large one

Thats it, it was down to space & following lots or reserch.... so far so good i will keep you posted.

Its not so good in the flesh, engine wise its spot on... need to get started on the paintwork and i have a new interior (with RS2 seats) to fit yet, one day it will be perfect just want to get some miles on her get her mapped and satisfy my self with the engine etc before i start on the paint work and so on.

Not been on here for a while, had my fair share of problems with this old girl... firstly the clutch release bearing went (brand new) pig of a job, the following weekend i noticed something much more worrying.... to cut a long storey short.. had to strip the lot out back to machine shop etc.. and yet another rebuild.

Still all back together now and running like a dream. Hopefully get it mapped in October..
