Blacked out headlights... what do you think?

Hi guys, just finished my headlight project. I think it has been done before, but I have fitted A6 Xenon projector units inside S2 ellipsoid headlights, thereby using the D2S bulbs from the A6. They fit in , just, also keeping the electric adjustment. They are very bright...!
I also painted the surrounding area black to tie in with the black grille and trims....
Any opinions? I thought at first it made the car look a little cross eyed, but now I have got to like it, makes it look very different.

I also wanted to do the indicators and fogs to finish off that evil look it gets from doing it.

Sorry, looks wrong. What's the high beam bulb going to reflect off now?

Great mod, less light from the fogs, harder to see the indicators and no reflector for the sidelight bulb to do it's job correctly.

Looks nice. However it suits the modded s2's rather than the unmodded s2's (refering to modded looks like bumper mirrors etc..).

Points mentioned regarding the lights being less reflective are concerning though.

My mate had that exact same effect on his 1.6 Laser Capri (although the car did create the look all on its own....I think we know it as rust), but it took us ages to laugh at it because the rest of the car looked even worse

TBH I'm in the "leave 'em alone" crowd - I'd have a blacked area on the RH light if it was actually a gaping airbox intake, though...
