One day, and I promise myself this, I will own an oak green valver. I've been looking through autotrader recently at them as a daily driver but of course it would then turn into another polishing exercise that would never leave the garage .

I have got one as a daily driver, and if it wasn't dark all the bloody time I would be polishing it!
If you can cope with 28 - 32 mpg they are a great daily drive and quite cheap to run. I think I insured mine for £350 and you can service them for very little. It is a far nicer drive than the MK4 I have been using for the last few days....
