Just a suggestion, Wizard, it would be a lot better to use the 1.8 16V engine from the Golf Mk2 (KR / PL). These have oil spray jets to cool the underside of the pistons, which the ABK won't have. It is also best to keep the bore size to 81mm, yours is 82.5mm - a bit too large for reliable sealing as far as forced induction is concerned. Metal headgasket for Golf G60 is best used.
Going down this route will also enable you to use the S2 exhaust / inlet manifold, after having #5 port removed from both and resealed. Pistons for the S2 - stock and aftermarket can then be used, rods also. KR engines can be picked up for as little as €200. The 3B loom / ECU can also be modified to run 4 cylinders, you'll need to get a suitable triggle wheel for engine RPM and rig up a TDC sender - on 4 cylinder engine easier at crank pulley end.

Hey Vagsport
well my block does have oil ports to cool the pistons.I have pictures of the block to show.
I wouldve gone 20V head and done but the problem is i have allready purchased an 8Valve head.
Would be a complete waist to not use it.....sigh.
I am going full out on management to get rid of my MAF.Going with 034EFi.com
my biggest problem right now is an exhaust manifold that can be built to my specs....Comment
