    V6 coupe R.I.P

So... another youngster, another fast car, another wreak. another stupid ****

    Car9.jpg

Showing off to me m8's the greatness of the 4rings at all angles and speed, was a wet slippery road, lost control (cus thats what it is at the end of the day). Flew up the 5ft devon hedge bank, rolled it (mid air) on the roof and carried on till the next corner stop it. Though us in the front was holding 1/half tons of car on our heads (really I mean we were pinned *** over tit in the seats by our heads "between a rock and a hard place". Hitting a tree stump (which the car removed) on the way up the bank stopped us going into the field on the first impact.

I'm the one gritting my teeth (needing the haircut) the other two were in the car with me at the time. It was a smile cus we're alive thing.

      Car6.jpg

The good news is no one had any injuries to speak of (well my cut eyeball isn't anything to scream about) till we all got out, scratches from climbing out which we did fast as, the 3/4 tank of petrol was pouring out like a waterfall. It was very difficult keeping passer-by-ers well away cus they were all looking. looking and listening to the music still booming out (which at the worst-est moment was Prodogy's 'smack my bitch up') had to turn that off before the emergency services arrived on scene which they did very fast, we are all very greatfull to them for the're support and help.
It was the 3rd chrash 1 of my m8s had been in in two months.

Writing this now gives me a throbbing on top of me head from the resting car.
This happened 3 odd week ago. All clear of any investigations and no ones claimed yet. so go on i need a beating.

No doubt about it, in a lesser car you'd all have been dead, or perhaps worse for you, one of your passengers dead and you still alive, I used to know a bloke who did this, showing off his quattro to his mates, the lad in the back seat died that night..
Great to hear none of you were hurt, hope you'll be a bit steadier from now on.

                    Glad you're alright Dan.
That looks just like another V6 Coupé I saw in Allparts Exeter a few years ago. Not a straight panel on it. Those Devon backs are pretty sturdy I'm afraid.

What Coupé are you going to get next? What comes after a V6 quattro?

Yeah... wouldn't have been able to live with that. If one of them died. How do you tell someones parents that you were the reason they won't be coming home ever.

For the power placed on the A pillers (which were starting to come over the roof) any other car and yeah the police would have been picking our heads out the road... which they seemed very glad they didn't have to do... this time.

Well I won't be doing anything like, thats for sure. It was a big wake up call, something for everyone to learn from. The last audi killed thread was awhile ago.

Speed kills... thats that. And I'm a **** for trying to prove it.

Well considering I had spent out on the car the month before. No coupe for a long long while as it'll prob be an S2 when the time comes. No NCB anymore so looking for something cheap even a 1ltr will do, hoping to stay in the 4rings family but money will decide that.

What do you do when you write off an S2 then??

Grow up some more, and buy an Avant

Seriously, good to see that nobody was hurt. It's amazing how well these old cars hold up when we occasionally do silly things in them. It makes you realise that yeah, it can even happen to you, doesn't it! Trust me, it's take a while to fully get over it, i was gutted for weeks after killing my coupe. I'm sure I'll be gutted again when i renew my insurance in august, goodbye NCB

Don't let it extinguish the quattro flame though... just learn from it as you said. A 20V sounds damn nice dont ya think? Or, as suggested an S2

I am really not sure what to say to that.

I would be too embarrassed to post.

Glad to hear that you are okay though.
