If it makes you feel any better Andy, I quite like these wheels.

You are right when you say they look better in the flesh and I though about buying these myself for trackdays when Jamo put them up for sale.

      Not to everyones taste though.
If you like them then keep 'em.

I love that design of wheel - I can't think of many that suit the S2 style of car any better, but, I do agree with most that on a light coloured car they just don't seem to have the right effect as they do on a darker car and also that flat sided wheels seem to suit the Coupe more!

Perhaps, it's the colour of the wheels compared to the car and they just don't compliment each other as they could - in my opinion, if the wheels were to be colour coded to the car with a polished rim then that could look really good (could also look horrible - especially if not colour matched right). That's just my 2 pence worth, and I'm sure they look even better on in person, and especially when clean too as mine transform the looks of the car when they're shiny!!!

Cheers Matt and Key Walshe, nice to have a bit of encouragement in my hour of need .

Right, just got back from a very sunny Brissol and am now of the opinion that the wheels look great! I think that anthracite centres would look good but there's no way I wasting money on more styling when there's power to be chased! I'll upload the pics if they're any good (camera phone) and post them tomorrow. The wheel design really suits the S2 and I agree that the silver doesn't work that well with the white but they're staying and that's that. Handling is improved and I can still force a nice bit of lift off oversteer on fast corners so I'm happy . The car has turned a LOT more heads since fitting the wheels and that's nice for now as I never got a look before but it also attracts the wrong kind of attention.
