I need to remove it at some point to tidy up the bottom edge of the hole I cut, as I did it while fitted for speed today lol
Might add some holes on the side when I do that

Yeah, my holes are visible with box installed and go all the way underneath. It doesn't change the noise that much until you hit about 5k rpm when it makes a bit more of a roar.

        Cats gone!
Looking at that lot its no wonder the are restrictive

If that new system doesnt define "straight through" then I dont know what does
Thankfully it didnt get much louder, if atall, and I thought it sounded awesome before, but now its even better!

                  Dest - good work lad...

Get AFR and BOOST readings at the dyno. Do power runs in 4th and make sure to get figures at the wheels in addition to any power loss estimates.

That exhaust - is that straight thru all the way to a Milltek back box ?

                  Must sound mighty alright...

                    Ok, will do

Just got the downpipe to get sorted another time (when funds allow!)

It basically comes off the downpipe to a 45 degree bend, then straight through to the Milltek rear box, and thats it! No centre box, no cats no nothing

It has DEFINITLY restored my faith in the car, I havent stopped grinning yet, the sound is immense!

Will try to sort a video or two in the near future...

My system is now single 2.5" pipe turbo back with a middle and back box. Sounds great not too loud (too quiet personally) but got that offbeat 5cyl noise still, which i think the twin cats muffles somwhat.

Looks like a great setup and i bet it sounds awesome.

What u gonna do about MOT??

                        MOT isnt an issue
Ive got two choices, go to the place where I went last year... the doddering old git couldnt find the engine code and therefore had to put it through the original precat test or go to the same place as where I got my Cav Turbo done with no cat... 30 quid back hander

Im not too bothered about it being loud as I only drive it for fun, not everyday to work etc, so the more fun it sounds the better really

No idea, I get my work done pretty much at cost price and very little labour, sometimes none
I help maintain and run their website and help out at rolling road days etc

Hmm...interesting! is it possible to ask them if they can make an identical 76mm tubing catback in between my 2 resonators to replace my 2.5inch one? cost etc?

                                I dont see why not.
If you can do a quick drawing with all the measurements etc I can ask them for a price.
They are based in Northampton if you fancied calling... or have a look at www.jam-sport.co.uk
