They don't do the car any favours looks wise. But they do stop stone chip's and gravel rash. I rallied a MK 2 Golf and I may as well have sand blasted the floor pan. I suppose it depends on what sort of driving you do.

A long drive into deepest darkest Wales resulted in picking up a very nice interior from James, which was from AlS2avant's car.

Just need some decent weather now so I can attempt to fit it all!

I doubt a rhd dash would fit a lhd due to the shape of the dials binnicle.

How did you remove the side panels in the boot Dest?

I'd like to take mine out to run ICE wires

                            Looking good mate!!

                            All looks very familiar!

Side panels.... you have to lift them to remove (just like the door cards)
Remove the tie down points first (afiak)

You need to tease off the cover for the rear seatbelt using the split in it nearest the window (coil it off like a circlip if that makes sense), start by coiling towards the front of the car. then remove the two allen key bolts beneath it. it should then all lift off upwards.

You also have to remove the posts that the rear seat backs clip into, one of mine was a b'stard because it had been rounded off in the past
Stuck some mole grips on it and it was soon off!
You also need to remove the black trim panel that goes across the rear of the boot where it shuts, that just lifts out once you remove the back two load fixing rings (the front two rings are handed, as the bottom of each is angled - I found that out the hard way lol)
Then you have to remove the trim on the inner of the D pillar, which comes out easily after you remove the centre bit that goes across the roof.

Oh, you also have to undo the end of the rear seat belt so it will go through the hole in the side panel.

It all sounds alot worse/harder than it actually is, but getting some of the bits of trim back in after is quite interesting to say the least!

                                Made some more progress today.
Carpet in, rear seats in, b pillar covers, and sill covers.
Should be finished tomorrow morning... rain, lunch, and work put a stop to it today!

Obviously needs a damn good clean after its all in!
