NEO, http://www.blocket.se/vi/13199245.htm?ca=5_s I will only sell it if i get what i ask for, or a urquattro/M3 E30. So if nobody buys it i will keep it. i dont think i will get another car that lookes, drives and goes as well as this for the same money. Prosty, I want a urq or a M3 e30 otherwise i will keep it=) Keep yours too...

Seriously like this car, even more so as it's got a price tag on it.
In the pics, it says 98k km, is this recent and is it correct?
Are you in Bollnas (about 150 north of Stockholm??)

            It's in yer profile!!!!!!!

And I live about 7 miles from Dudley!!

Very interested in the car mate. How much history/paperwork comes with the car?
Do you have the receipts for the work undertaken by Dahlback?

The thought of driving back from Sweden to the UK is the hard bit! Which route would be the easiest? Stockholm-Malmo-Copenhagen-accross the E20 to Denmark then down into Germany? Looks a mission and a half to me!!!

If the car is as good as it looks and you've got all the paperwork with the vehicle, then I could be swayed and talk with you on it!
I've got this for sale on eBay at the moment as I'm after a UR Quattro like yourself but I've had a vision for a longtime and the car/van was this same Inka Orange colour although my vision was to put an S2/RS2 lump in a South African 5 pot Type 25 (VW), fit it with RS2 rims and paint it Inka Orange!!!

I lived at lynnbrook close?? linnebrook close?? or something it was called.

The ****** thing is, that the original reciept from dahlback does not exist. He did the work for a friend that owned the car so to speak. There is a paper that somone has written down every nut bolt washer sparkplug gasket turbo exhaust rs2 mods brakes susp etc etc. everything that dahlback has touched, and i have a magazine from 96 (swedish car mag bilsport) and in this mag there is a 6 page story about dahlback, and jörgen who imported the car and some other cars. there are several pics of the car, and facts spec list everything. And i have most MOT papers were the milage is printed and everything seems to be in order. But too be honest with you mate, I wouldnt go to the hassle of comeing here to get it. It is in good nick, but it´s not mint in my eyes. i would like a full respray for it as time has taken it´s share. No rust or anything just a bit worn and blisterd. And not telling you about this and saying it´s like new would just be stupid.

Good to be open and honest, but how bad would you say the paint is?
I can machine polish a turd to look like a show winner and I've done plenty of VAG paint cars in the past.
If there are no rust issues (which there shouldn't be) then all is not lost. Is there lacquer peel on the paint at all?

The paint is a bit wierd, The car had a full respray in mid 90s du to a minor accident, i suppose the sprayed the whole car so they wouldn´t get any diffs in the shade of colour. I bought the car of a guy who had a paintshop and he said the following " The paint on this car is in 4 layers. first a base coat, then the orange colour, (flat orange) then there is a yellow pearl with yellow flakes in it and finally there is a clearcoat on top. The idiots who painted it before have kind of cheated a bit buy paintig it wet on wet (painting one layer ontop of a layer thats not completely dry) and then putting the car together before the car back tgeter before it all has dried" so there is a few blister like things around the door handles, rear windows (witch you can open ), and on the molding on the right front wing. otherwise it just lookes like a 10 year old paintjob. The defectives in the paint are not obvious if you dont know of them, you need to look for a while before you see them. and the surface/shine isn´t bad either. Shame on such a beutiful/unusual car otherwise.

Well - it still looks absolutely gorgeous in the photos.

I'll swap you for a really unique Emerald green Coupe - its got this amazing paint effect where some lil git threw an egg at me rear lights and it oozed down the bumper. Starting to honk a bit now. That and all those uniquely crafted stone chips on the bonnet, and a couple of gouges in the bumpers by the pervious owner. Come on - its a good swap - you know u want to.

If I ever get the money for a bare metal respray - that colour is in pole position right now. Yum yum.
