where's the poll fella?
Mines not - hasn't since about September - small boost issue.
Reckon 7/10 of us have cars not running right - poll will prove......
My S2 is runing sweet as a nut ......... Have done full top end rebuilt ,lapped all the valves, head skimmed, metal head gasket, all new gaskets and seals top end and vacuum piping ,Car is given a full health check every 6 months i.e service, all moving parts ,boost hoses all checked so on ...........Only issue i have is a dodgey petrol gauge but can live with that
Mines just coming to the end of a full engine rebuild due to a snapped crank pulley key! Was running perfect before. But thats the law of the sod for you. Probably have a few issues when i get it back, i know i need a new LCD for the gauges.

The only reason you have a dodgey fuel gauge is that you have a heavy right foot
Dont worry i have that same problem too , im sure many others on here have the same
RS2s running very well... now Still a few niggles so voted accordingly not niggilly enough to stop me leaving an M3 evo for dead at the local traffic light GP earlier blinkin kids eh
S2 + RS2 yep ive had a few love em... Laser red S2 avant... Brilliant black lhd RS2... Polar silver RS2... RS blau RS2... CheeRS Al
i can safely say that it runs beautifully......after having spent at least 10000euro on it,the least it can do is have the decency to not give me any hard trouble. The parts that are still not replaced are getting less and less so i eradicate the possibililty of fault.
However we must always bare in mind that since our cars are heavily modded some parts will need replacing sooner such as turbochargers,MAFs,hoses etc....
