    my cars' birthday

On the same day in 1996 my S2 coupe rolled down from the assembly line in Germany. One of the latest examples on this forum, I gathered. It makes me happy to drive it, fast or slow ride, winter or summer. No other car makes me feel the control and confidence the same way this one does. I know you guys know what I mean. Bear comes now.

Get your chassis number (VIN), then go to S2central.net and put it in the VIN decoder,
it does not show all the data for cars that were exported to the US, but should show that approx manufacture date.

I bought the car from a neighbour and here is the original strassenzulassugschein showing 19th March 1996. And the service log book and all that stuff.
