Another Audi Going To Scrapyard In The Sky

Hi all
just a rant over a rather unpleasent event today

whilst out in my Avant L190 PNN ( RED AUDI 80 1.9 TDI AVANT) with family ,i was hit by a intoxicated woman Driver at my right rear wheel,causing us to do 360 degree turn and ending up againt a brick wall........yikes:

i cant believe that as we where traveling about 25 mph in 30 mph(speedo jammed thee).i was driving slower to let wife to catch up behind us....the damaged we recieved...............her impact caused my right rear axle to break off and wheel has damaged body work .lol............

she had come into my lane at a slight turn in he road,,,,,her skid mark from where her right front strut/tire started was about 20 cm in my lane

The police where great,i asked them to find her,as a witness said she was driving allover the place and breath tet her............................................ an she was later arrested for being under the influence....they where aslso helpfull in helping my sister to tke pics in taking pics of the accedent scene



I just thank the powers,up there that all we got out ok.....................................just o prove how great and safe these are

WARNING damage doesnt look bad,but damage is under car


HELP..........NEEED ADVISE........


my insurance ESURE...sy they keep car...if payout............................since i done front suspensin and head i know i wont get that money back on payout when i get it............................can i still buy car back???
car is in pound in LEEDS at white hal....would it be beter to get car home??

This is my biggest fear, i'm glad to hear your all ok and sorry to hear about the car. But when all is said and done it has done what it was meant to do--saved you all. As for the woman --------I'd -----its hard to say subtly-------wait till she has a hangover then drive over her head repeatedly people like this deserve banning for life, if she was that rat ****d that she was all over then she is probably a repeat offender, thinking "It'll be alright".
So many people over here drink and drive its scary. Pulling up at a petrol station seeing the landcruiser next to you with a long haired freaky person driving while his missus fills the car and gets him another Bundy Rum & Coke from the cool box in the boot. And its the norm Scares me witless.

definately get it back as you will be charged storage out of your end amount, plus whilst its in your possesion you can argue more if they try to knock you down on an end settlement. Plus you never know what might get taken off whilst your cars there.

yes john.go get it back,you can remove anything you need from it then,just dont make it illegal so when the assesor comes its all above board..you should be able to buy it back from insurance..you have to except a lower payout tho
