My S2 coupe, written off?

Just been rear ended by a Merc estate This will no doubt be written off, both rear quarters creased and rear panel. No crease in the roof though. I am off out tonight to get totally pisht!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It does lok like a write off if both the rear 1/4s are creased
IIRC Andy Casey was rear ended was close to being written off with a lighter looking impact that creased the rear panel but not the quarters.

I'm still in shock! I have a brand new rear subframe sat in the bodyshop, typical eh! I was giving my mechanic a lift after dropping a car off, he feels well sick. 220000miles and it was still going strong. But she will rise from the ashes, she aint going yet, that i promise you brothers!

Hope you get it sorted with your insurance company etc, what a shame.

If you can, try get some decent pictures of the sides and of the whole car (still ain't seen your car afaik)

too many s2's have succumed to being stripped, its not right, but one has risen from the ashes last night and is well on its way to a clean bill of health its cost me more! than getting insurance involved but im well happy, and im v sure you will get it sorted and keep another on the road! Get stuck in!

Many thanks lads, just got home after a few ciders & started crying my eyes out to be honest! I worked SO hard to buy my baby,its killing me and the fun with the insurance hasnt even started yet! I paid £20000 for her 10 years ago at 23 years of age, to have it ripped away from you in 30 seconds is killing me!!! I cant think of anything else to say. I cant type anymore, sorry!
