so, being the degree qualified automotive engineer that i am, i immediately put them on the testing machine:

please note, balancing yourself on two or four s2 springs is properly difficult.

Dunno when im going to stick them on, think im going to look at poly bushing the wishbones / solid mounting the subframes so i'll probably do it all at once. hopefully along with some fat ARBS. All depends what comes up for sale and how cheap i can blag it.

In other news, the cats are rattling like a tap dancers honeymoon, so theyre coming off next weekend to get gutted.

Not yet. New bushes will be happening when they go on.

They look particularly good on my bedroom floor

Hi Chis, just read this thread, nice work on the car

I've had 2 rads go in the way you describe, they were pattern parts and the lower bracket was spot welded to the bottom of the rad, cheap way to do it as it really should be braised, the vibration just fractured the welds and the water leaked out, first one went back for warranty and the second one did the same within a few months, I think this is when my head gasket cried enough! I got someone to braise the bracket back on the second time and its been good as gold since.
