I still say it was a diesel spill. The road was well slippy ..onyhoo..

As an aside - I mentioned to this bike nut about said [ahem] crash, and showed him photies on my phone. He recognised the road and said that his mate had totalled his bike [/b]at the very same spot[b]. Anyhoo.. this is relevant as, as I was getting my front bumper from the opposite side of the road I saw a daft plastic "VXRS" badge or something similar (It might have been "my other bike is my mum's" badge), but hey...

Onyhoo - my point is, is that I never thought I was going too fast to lose it - it just spun. Perhaps this spot is a 'haunted spot'. Just a thought...

At the end of the day Derek your OK, thats the main thing and you get to see your wife and kids, could have been a different story if a HGV was coming the other way!
