It cost the princely sum of £400 delivered. Like I said it needs a bit of TLC but touch wood it will be road legal by the weekend. We still can't decide whether to keep it as a luxo barge or create a V8 DTM replica.

P I M P was the other option. We were thinking slammed in the weeds with a black roof and pillars and smoked glass. Not sure I can justify the airbag suspension and wire wheels though

Here you go boys. I've attached a pic of the switch I took last night. Basically you get three positions. Economy where it short shifts, Sporty where it holds gears longer and manual where it stays in whatever gear you select (it doesn't downshift as you slow down and you can pull away in whatever gear if you like)

I must admit I'm feeling a bit peeved with the car today. It doesn't seem to want to go back on the road. It breezed the MOT yesterday then decided that it wouldn't start. Jason and I spent a good few hours tinkering last night but it's still intermittant. Even with the full set of workshop manuals in Jasons posession it wasn't obvious. I feel really bad for Jason to be honest as he's on holiday for the next two weeks and the last thing he needs is one of my wrecks playing on his mind

I think the problems stem from the fact it's been laid up since last October and bits are failing due to lack of use. Going to be a dificult birth this one....
