OK, heres some more pics, this time with my mates RS2:

The interesting thing is that my mates RS2 (I purchased mine first) is only one digit different in the chassis number, which I guess is kind of a build number? Do you think they would have rolled off the production time at the same time?

Also both the cars are the same spec (apart from colour), they feature black leather, carbon and neither of them have sunroofs (which I understand is a little rare?).

It's more interesting to see, that they both have no sunroof and they have roofracks.
I'ts more common to see roofracks with sunroof or no sunroof nor roofracks.

Well Im well over due for an update here!

Since my last report I have done a bit to the RS2:

Ive has the steering wheel and gear knob refurbished

Crikey, didn't know you could refurb steering wheels, I stuck a nasty Halfords cover on mine to stop it shedding.

Great thread and lovely car, would love to own one of these one day...

Crikey, didn't know you could refurb steering wheels, I stuck a nasty Halfords cover on mine to stop it shedding.

I'll probably use some preforated leather when i refurbish the wheel in my car. Another option would be alcantara, but that would also need matching gearknob to get it looking right.

Agreed, you are more isolated than others which has its advantages.

In December I also deSuperchipped the RS2, it goes so much better now. I love having over boost back! Its better on gas, and it idles smoother and its easier to drive.

Plug the N75 back in:



Remove the ECU:





Open it:





Unfold it:





and change the chip (only one in this case)
