The car is with Jonus for a timingbelt replacement. I got it down to him 2 days ago, so it was just sitting in the garage for a month or so. It seems like the timingbelt was traveling back and forth because of the rift in the timing belt. So he is putting on a new timingbelt and changing the oil.

Hopefully he can make a timingbelt cover, since it seems like a small rock or something caused the belt to rip, and I have only driven it like 3000KM so I don't want that to happen again.

I'll update when I get the car back Just looking forward to driving it now. It's been too long.

A custom made one. 3,5" DP -> 3" w/ 2 silencers.

Were you the guy in the silver RS2 with green plates? If so, how much power was it running on Friday?

Wasn't me. I've got a Nogaro blue one (that hasn't been to the track).

Thanks. It was awesome! Luckily I nailed the gear shift. The F430 Scud changes gears in 60 MS

I think at higher speeds the A8 would start walking away from the Scud. It was pretty even, but I pulled on him a bit, even though his exit speed was faster.

that looks like rudskogen. what are they doing to the spectator areas there. looks like they have extended the quarry.

They are redoing the whole race track I think.

This is definitely the sound of a boost relief valve and not surge...

There is no BOV/release valve on the pipes, trust me. The pressure goes right back to the turbo, that's why you hear a "cho, cho, cho" sound instead of a "pshheee" sound. You can hear it way better in higher gears with full boost and less RPM

I asked him if this hurt the turbo much, and Jonus said it really didn't effect the turbo life.
