looks ok. torque drops off in an instant though. small blower character.

bet its a hoot on the road though.. spool seems good.

re the comments on old school turbos. not worth it IMO. you will notice the lag of old school on a bigger unit. on the smaller ones its less of an issue.

id like my turbo with BB and vband and billet.

you need to look at smaller garrets then or other brands.

the newer wheel designs and bearings along with the change in casting design means a smaller unit can out perform and out HP an older bigger one.

        the downside is cost.

i only paid £399 brand new for mine when rates were better. im told i can get at least 1k better spool and same or slightly better performance for about £1200. thats a slightly smaller turbo too.

Nip, I am running exactly the same setup in my URS4 Avant; exactly same turbo, injectors, WG etc but 'with' a recently worked head and Wagner EM - I am watching your con rods eagerly whilst my Sachs clutch arrives in-country ( probably just as well) and all of my toys are bolted together - I think you need to drive down to the seaside and come and show the lads in Dorset exactly hoiw fast you are talking - we could put avant next to avant - same set up.... need I say more!!!!! Now that would make for a good Youtube!!!!

                      I’m Paul from Viezu.com

We have just completed the installation of our new 3000bhp rolling road at our HQ and technical centre in Bromsgrove; it’s probably the most advanced dyno in the UK. We now have over 98 Uk dealers, we tend to keep our state of the art dyno cell in Bromsgrove for research and development work, but if you are looking to have your car tested I will be happy to give you some FOC dyno time. Please e-mail me at paul@viezu.com and i will make the arrangements.
If you want to see our facilities you can see some pics on our face book, “Viezu Remap”
Please let me know if we can be of assistance

                      Best wishes

                              Hello Nip,
If I read that right you've got the hp scale on the right hand side and the torque scale on the left hand side. Is there any way you could get the figures on the scale and post them up, I think they've been chopped off by the printer.

They're the same on both sides. You can just make out the 240 on the same line, and he said ~460ft/lb which works on that scale
