well i will be at VAG fest this sunday if your going mate!

i managed a 5.4-60 and a 14.4 1/4 on a bone stock AAN motor so not bad considering a shafted clutch in 1/2/3 gears lol

will be getting a daily stage 4 from Marc soon,
maby speak more at future shows matey.

i have to stay with a DM flywheel as my gearbox /input shaft wont support a single mass unfortunatly, just got a 7a item aswell! DOH.

ahwell, parts bin stores for the saffy it is then

drong length/depth from bellhousing to shaft end, basicaly i need to swop the A4 box for a S2/URs4 or URs6 6sp box, but that means getting shafts made up and prop made up, and losing my current ratios and that is NOT an option.

i dont mind keeping the DM fly for now untill i can spend some more time with a micromiter with the engine and box on the floor.

i cant do this now as its my daily drive!

gutted as i need a strong clutch for bugjam in 2 weeks, will be 400+ by then no good with a fried clutch lol

There are strong sach dual mass clutches out there to handle 400 odd bhp. If the DM could handle the stroker torque I would have kept it in, I way prefer the DM over the SM.

Never got the boost leak sorted - still 0.5 bar down, so only managed 5.3 0-60 and 13.5 for the 1/4 mile Sods law that it developed the leak about 10 miles from the track

I am using the stage 4 Southbend. I ordered a stage 3 which is the highest spec with stock pedal pressure, but they were out of stock and my gearbox was waiting to go back in so I had to take the stage 4.

The pedal pressure is higher so my wife doesn't like it for longer journeys and I can feel it in longer traffic jams but the performance is fabulous and it will take far more abuse than my engine will ever be able to dish out. Side step the clutch at 6,000rpm and it just bites

I would certainly recommend a Southbend and I would buy one again - from Marc (EFIexpress on here). Either stage 3 if staying at modded RS2 spec (say sub 400bhp) or stage 4 for the same or higher power if you want to do more drag strip launches but Marc is a great chap and very helpful so give him a call and he will advise on the best setup for you.

                  Cheers n

                  Si
You've finally got the RS2 stuff on there then Si :mischeif:
