  • My Dutch S2

Since I visit this forum, I have already learned more about my S2.
This is the best S2 forum on the web, and I will continue visiting.
This is my S2. It's imported from Germany in 2000 and I have it since than. Before the S2, I drove a Coupe Quattro 20v.

    CQ20v and S2

After the sell of the CQ20v I started to optimize my S2. I was only 21 so had a lot to learn. But I've done nothing I regret now. I have Masitaly wheels placed with 225/40/18 Bridgestone Potenza S-03.

A stainless steel exhaust has been made:

And I have installed a nice music installation with navigation:

I also have a Vector 966r radar detector, a Clifford alarm with Turbo timer and lowered windshield wipers:

Looking at your navigation system installation I guess you don't usually have very hot weather up in the Netherlands

Nice, clean and very "high tech" looking, anyway !

We had the hottest summer since 1947 this year with temperatures of 30° C. But my car sleeps inside and only comes out with good weather.
But I had thought about your issue before and a cover plate is on the way. Also leather and in front of the TFT screen.
      Thanks for your concerns

Hey !!! Greetings fellow Dutchman !!
Nice car ! And I really like your exhaust

By the way, do you know any good audi quattro/s2 specialists in our vicinity? Rotterdam is only a 35minute drive from here (without traffic jams that is )

I can't call my mate a S2 specialist, but he always get the job done. Indeed in Rotterdam. It's a universal garage. I am happy with them.

Of course, tell me if you want the address. But they aren't experts. Maybe you can try www.audiparts.nl , they also do repairs.

Always very nice to have someone you know well to work on your car. Thankfully I got a mate (since recently) who also has his own shop/garage and has done good work for me allready, so I guess I won't need that address yet, but who knows someday I might need a second oppinion

Yes, a second opinion is needed often. It's not: "Well let's change spark plugs just in case..."

Hmm.. I'm not a member of the ACGN, should I be?

It's always nice to meet other coupes. It's not that there are a lot of high-tuned cars. Most owner's prefer the original looks. I want to complete the original look with parts that make it better
But there are a lot of coupes with the ACGN. With your membership card you will receive a discount at a Official Parts dealer, and with some universal part shops.
But I really like the meetings.
