Still seems like you are doing a lot of touring in that beast of a car. My wife and I just completed a round trip from Calais through Paris to Monaco, then to Verona/Venice, headed north to Vittorio Vinetto and Trento then to Passo Del Tonale for a couple nights, then head through the Brenner pass heading for Vienna, but turned around and headed for Ingolstadt to visit the museum again, but it was closed...!! We then took in Berlin finally heading to old military stomping ground before setting off down the road again to head for Calais and home. All this was not in such a classic car as the RS2 but in our recently purchased Q7, none the less it was an adventure, but one we plan to take our little cabby on too, but thinking not such a long drive. It was absolutely fantastic driving, and the weather we had was brilliant too for January.

The ignition based launch control that was mapped in. +- 4500rpm with 1.2bar at standstill. Then you only need to be brave enough to drop the clutch

I've got the strong first, but anyhow I'm not really a LC abuser, only have done it a few times and mostly on wet/damp surface

Drove it a bit more yesterday and it really has that bit extra oomph, lovely

CGR box? All late ABY/RS2 had that type I believe?

Other way around, CGR 6 spd = early RS2 and all ABY S2 avants. CRB = later RS2s and nothing else.

Is there a code on the gearbox? Thought I read somewhere that late ABY also got the CRB gearbox
