A few shots of the old girl!

[DamianURS4]

I decided to take a few shots whilst its on the road and in one piece.....

[DamianURS4]

and a few more....

[prj]

The steering wheel is on the wrong si..... oh wait...

Nice car though.
I did not know they made S4's without automatic climate control... never seen one with the manual one before.

Looks great, I think you have a fire in the boot

[Ruffiano]

one thing that has always troubled me about the RHD versions is why do they have teh "dead pedal" on the far right? when are you going to ever rest your foot there??? now in a LHD car your clutch foot rests there while you are driving...

Cruise control?

Never noticed it before now...
But yeah, that seems idiotic.

Cruise control?

I suppose, but you are much more often just not using the clutch than the gas pedal.

[andy10v]

There is a foot rest on the left beside the clutch as well, however the small chassis one is crap if you have big feet as it is small/behind the clutch.

[DamianURS4]

I guess its just a throw back to the design principal in place from the era - there are other aspects of the car which are from the LHD design and dont carry across so well..... in addition - if this were a LHD we would be looking at a bunch of fuses etc - so perhaps its down to some generic moulding....

[PeteRR]

Yeah, IIRC there's a bunch of fuses/relays behind there.

[DamianURS4]

thats the one!

[newsh]

On the 200 there was an ecu of some sort under there.

Good looking car, I love the dash with the aux gauges alongside, just like my old 100TQ

[Costash]

Tidy car you have there! What kind of power you run now?

[DamianURS4]

after the head gasket blew last winter - she pretty much had everything from the bottom end up and the inlet manifold replaced - there was a completely rebuilt 7a head - replaced every gasket etc - now running a Hoffer K27/28 turbo pushing out somewhere near to 420bhp...not sure of the torque figures but its pretty similar to Nip's set up other than I understand he may be be running an aftermarket intercooler setup compared to my standard...

[DamianURS4]

the turbo and ancilliaries.....
