What make is the imob? I had a similar problem with a previous Audi 90, I could get it started by jiggling the wires into the alarm unit. In the end I had to retrace all the wires and take it out which took forever as it was a full closure system with alarm. Hopefully yours will be an easier fix

im not sure of the make. it cost me a arm and a leg however. im not going to touch it
the company that put it in can deal with it. im just so glad it was not the flywheel pin
as i am geting a spark. roll on tuesday

Easy to tell if it's the fuel pump being cut - just jumper it.

In most cases, however, Audis don't run their fuel pumps anyway during the initial start sequence.

well lads so much for the immobiliser theory immobiliser is ok it seems.
now changing sensors G4 and G28 see how that goes.

its alive i have been saved thanks to mark (macandmar) and my friend ken.
as it turned out it was the immobiliser or :corey: that fitted it. it was a broken wire
which was not connected properly. as in two wires joined and taped up. no proper
connecters. some people just dont take any pride in their work. so thanks again mark.
