                    • I might add one of tonight's attempts at light painting:

All I've done is crop. It came out of the camera looking like this! Light painting is amazing!

All posters to date, great thread, keep it "bumped".

                          Best wishes.

Which splitter do you have on the front lip?

Never knew you could do that in camera, how does it work?

It needs to be reasonably dark outside and you will need a tripod and torch. Obviously a DSLR helps, but I think even my point and shoot now has long shutter so anyone can do this! Frame your shot with the camera on a tripod with it on long shutter - I used 30s. Once the camera is taking, walk around the car shining a torch onto it and the light will all 'add up' in the camera when the shot is finished. Best way to go about it is to just give it a try, there's no right/wrong technique, it all looks cool!

I've got a few shots where I've inadvertently shone the torch on myself and had a ghostly bit of skin in shot - creepy....

Physically got so much to do on the car though, there are some stunning examples in this thread and I'm only about 20 pages in! Great bedtime reading material (is that a bit sad?)
