Hey larsaskogstadt,
traditionally we like to post pics of ours cars shiny side up, you've "flipped the script" here with this inverted shininess stunt. Keep up the good work.
Good to see a silver one that's still black along the bottom, colour coding the plastics ruins the look of Coupes with some colours IMO, this being one of them.
Looks spot on does that with the original wheels as well.
Totally agree Ian, the B3 Coupe still looks fresh now yet it was on the drawing boards in West Germany as far back as 1985/6, so not far off 40 years ago, which is pretty amazing when you think about it.
The only other car that comes close to being so timeless is also a VAG offering with the VW Corrado, they don't look dated IMO and the first 1.8 16V cars came out in 1987/8 rapidly followed by the outstanding G60 in 1989.
I guess the Porsche 944 has also aged very well.
Apart from really exotic stuff all modern car's look pretty much the same, very boring and not for me.
I'd love another Coupe (fancy a 7A or V6 CQ) but have to remind myself that I've got a one previous owner RS2 on 100K miles, which I'm extremely lucky to have acquired just before the prices went mental so all my serious car funds must be invested into reviving that car.

My thoughts exactly. The guys who designed these cars were brilliant, in the true sense of the word, so why would I change the proportions of their design and think that I could “improve” on what they produced.
