Finally Got myself a S2

Hi folks, well after being on here for the last 18mths, and suppyling many members with a few components, i have finnaly got one for myself.
Its a ABY 1996 Coupe, totally standard.
Its the red one of Piston Heads, Me and Brian Tonks went to have a look at it last week, and Brian gave it a very good looking over, even managed to get it onto sum ramps to check underneath.
Theres a few cosmetic things to sort out, and Brian suggests i get the rear sub-frame sorted next yr.
Just got back from picking it up, and very pleased with it, feels very solid to drive

The plans for this, not to keen on the brakes, my works astravan stops quicker so they will need looking at??
Get the paintwork/bodywork sorted, there are a few stonechips and stratches,

Not sure about changin the wheels just yet, the originals are in very good condition maybe need a little re-furb but something i can live with at the moment

Next year, try and source another rear sub-frame and change all the rear bushes.

Hopefully lose about 2 stone in weight, as i wont be able to buy beer & Chocolate anymore
