I'm beginning to dig and date order the history file of the car.
It seems to have been born in Oldham for the princely sum of £48512.73
which included the colour option (clearly stated, proving it WAS possible [fyi : scillyisles] to twist arms in order to get a non-standard colour) .... I have complete named history: first owner Cheshire, second Bolton, third Scotland, then a dealership and that's why the car will Google as being in Scotland prior to being collected (Google) by a woman with her own mechanic ..... that's about as far as i've got - the amount of paperwork with the car is hurting my head.
Yes, it would interesting to find out how the dealer got the colour - I have the first salesmen name, shall I call Audi and see if he's still with them ? ....
