Notme, but my better half has just bought into the 4 ringed world (again). We have just bought an 1996 A4 1.8T sport in Kingfisher Blue, FSH etc etc, not that that makes any difference to the price.
Now i have to find some money to do some tweaks to that one!!

one question to the lads? Why does Audi always find ways to obstruct the PS fluid bottle? The one in this car is obstructed too. Can't see how much fluid is in the bottle. Like my Coupe.
Looks mint under the bonnet. Seen it in the flesh and it is a lovely motor. Not drive by wire model is it?
Does Becky keep it clean like that or is that how it was when you bought it? If she's done it, ask her why yours isn't looking the same. LOL, shes gonna slap me for that!
Get one of Mihneas big turbos on there and she will be well happy. I think he got over 370bhp out of a 1.8T in Germany recently with a larger turbo. Needed a few extra bits though to get that sort of poke. Start with the exhaust anyway...and I don't mean a Team Bodge side exit granny leg burning flame thrower jobbie though

I gave it a clean under the bonnet the other day. Its only a 150bhp non quattro and it feels a bit slow. Its also non DBW, which is a bummer. We have plans for this little beast, its gonna get a 2.5" exhaust, air filter and front mounted intercooler (when Lee prices the forge one up for me) Then Mihnea is gonna chip the bad boy. Should give us about 210bhp

Front mount kit lists at £850+VAT but it shows that for the B6 model
Prices are for a full kit not just the IC. Can do you some cracking prices on a universal IC if you want to fit something special in.
Do they actually do an FMIC for the B5 1.8T? It doesn't appear in my list. I'll give them a bell and find out for definate. I am sure I can do a special discount on those prices for you mate Do you still want a price for the boost hose kit too or is it worth seeing what is included with the IC kits first as they are bound to have some hoses included. Forge have a 4 hose silicone hose kit for £120 RRP but I will check if I can do better from SFS for those.

Yeah its going on the rollers, but minus the mods, apart from a chip. That is providng i can find the hesitation its got, doh! I think its a coil pack as i have pressure tested the thing and its fine.

If the S2's not showing, the A3'll be there. No chip yet. I thought we'd see how it does without first. Just had 4 new coil packs. Just as well for <£80 inc. bolts and gaskets. Seems to be ok now.
LOL. Yeah, for the 1.8T. From my Stealer. I think they are a bit cheaper than ABY ones. Maybe someone should see if you could mod them to fit. Are they that different? Same size cylinders if that means anything.

The later Audi's have a black plastic cover over the power steering bottle because under that cover is the connections for air con fans abs etc. the bottle has a dipstick incorporated in it. I suppose the designer thought... You take the engine dipsick out to check the oil level so why not the ps fluid? HTH

Yeah this uses the older type coil packs, the new style ones, like the ones fitted to my dads passat are 14 quid from VAGparts each, but they dont fit the S2 head, tried that!
