I've been advised by the guy who's doing the engine rebuild to keep stock ignition as 500bhp won't pose a threat, all new & genuine parts used in the dizzy, H Beam rods, RS2 spark plugs and probably a set of Magnecor leads.. You'll have to freshen my mind up on the CDI unit your running?

the cdi has been developed by motec and keith has used it in a few quattros with excellent results, a couple of hill climers with serious hp are running this system a friend of mine is running around 490 in his s2 with stock ignition (dizzy) and it goes like wounded rino

Yes it was - bought it last June from Nick.
The previous owner traded it with Nick for an Imola Yellow RS4 - he also has an (Ex-Monza marshall's car) Martini 6 which is garaged and looks like it was built last week

Made an real difference Al, 320 even before the map
3" turbo back - de-cat - single box - subtle tails.
Chris had never done an RS2 before so it was a long build, nice job though

That cast piece is a major restriction, when you can get a 2.5 to 3" cone and kkk flange be even better
