The old girl has had a bit of a spend up recently; complete engine service component change inc. (but not exclusively) spark plugs, camshaft belt, all other belts, water pump, several water hoses, baby rad changed, coolant flush, oil, all filters etc, brakes and fluid, and two new ball joints.... It's made a heck of a difference... The old girl does feel a tad livelier....


Here she is today on dog walking duties...

Mike, the centre caps are the Audi items that fit really well.

Finally managed to see the car in something resembling daylight with the new wheels on today..

Haha. Sorry Ian but a nice set of Ronals look awesome on the avants. It's just a shame they aren't a 17 or 18" wheel. They would be my wheel of choice then! I will admit that the avus or your current wheel set up does make the car look more modern though. And keeping the diamond cut wheel in a good condition is hard hence why mine only go on in the summer and get washed every other day... OCD or what??? Lol

lol, now you see, the Avus rims were not the original wheel anyway... Our old girl was one of the very few to arrive with Ronals... These are the original wheels, and they're neatly stacked up down the garage...

Doesn't look too shabby for it either!!
