Interesting one to note, I had these arrive yesterday, and fitted today. Proxes T1R's.

Now I've had a low rumble/vibration under hard acceletation for a while and have been quietly fearing the worst... Changed the front tyres today (minimum tread) and bingo... its gone... The rears have nearly new tread depth.

I"ve read a thread on here a while back where similar occurred...

    Good to hear

Last thing you would need is water seeping through to the coils and spark plugs area

Well, the EFIExpress coils are pretty impervious to water... 30 miles in torrential rain back from Eastbourne today and an HGV bow wave so huge it covered the whole car at 60mph... Nasty weather out there.. But the old girl did fine... Brakes all appear good too, with plenty of feel to them and plenty of 'stop' too. Pads are a bit dusty, but I can live with that.

Rear brakes are done, took my time with them, cleaning and wire brushing them right back, changed the boots, regreased, and freed everything up. Checked the handbrake cables and cleaned up all the mechanism...

So it looks like this now...

Well, bit more love, beavered away at the brakes and front suspension earlier in the month...

Then had a go at sorting out the state of the Avus...

But the old girl looked like this at half five this evening...

Sadly Rob, the only dogging I do now involves a three mile walk and a slobbering collie...

Nice to know there is an other emerald green one out there being cared for, out of interest what colour is your interior?
Ah, it's the 'quattro' graphite cloth interior with the *cough* wood....
