Yes , it seems that the turbine wheel was not big enough for Will's satisfaction so he went to modify it for a bigger one

I already told him that 500hp is more than enough on that 1360kg car. Anything between 450/500 is perfect to be honest

I think that we are few to few ending it

I'll be a very happy man if I can go there to pick it up in the next weeks

But unfortunately that's not in my hands 100%

The 8th December is my birthday .... Would be an awesome gift

Nice to see there are some fellow S2 owners with Evos as well.

I had an 8 and changed that to a 9 and am busy doing some upgrades to it at the mo.

However, I have to say the S2 has and always will be my first choice.

Rocco I hope you get sorted soon and start to enjoy your beautiful car. I've been waiting for my Evo to come back from the workshop for a couple of months now.

Don't worry guys , there are no money issues or unexpected problems except that my original head was a bit cracked and it was better to replace it.... Was like 300£ more or less.

I told Will that I'd like to have the car ready before end of the year... If possible of course,

But I hoped the same for summer and obviously was not possible

If I don't have news from him soon I'll ring him to see what happens or if there's a problem with something

Also have to advise him to do the custom mapping on 98 octane fuel because is the highest available in Spain and I know in uk there are tesco 99

We are all entitled to our own opinion, and the above was mine. However your opinion may be true if we are talking, say a Nissan Micra going in to Kwick-Fit. However such as Roccos car with the exotic components, as he has purchased. Total different ball game.

Anyway, I'll leave it there. Don't want to turn this good thread sour.

Good luck with the car Rocco, sure it will come away from Will's better than expected.
Not meant to be offensive. Just said I disagree merely because it's not a case of I don't know. I do know!. If you check what I have done to my car over the years it has nothing to do with a Nissan micra. I use the same principle on people I have had dealings with and it always works. Exotic are the materials being used on 1000+hp evos not Roccos car.

But as you say. Let's not mess with the thread

This is a matter of you deciding on the parts, buying them, getting your car to the mechanic and saying : here it is how much and how long to build it. Simple as that. If the mechanic fails to deliver on time and within the agreed budget, there is a problem ESPECIALLY if the mechanic has taken part in suggesting what parts to buy in the first place which shows that he has experience in them

Any deviations from an agreed plan need to have a damn good excuse as no matter if the mechanic is the best in the world what good will it do if a deadline is augmented by a new one and then another one and then I have no car for months and months?

I hope you get a nice car you can enjoy Rocco, especially now that you keep on selling all your s2 parts! I hope its not to fund the evo!!

Sorry, i didn't post before because really have not heard about progress since may/June when Will went to Pikes peak ...

He has to be busy finishing/mapping it

Hope to receive good news soon

That car became in an endless hole ... Too much money spent for 450kms driven roughly
