Coupe Front bumper ideas ?

Evening all. havent been on here for a while and havent really done much to the coupe recently. However I picked up a slightly scabby V6 front bumper for £10 a while back and decided to have a go at spraying it up and doing something different with it ...

Has anyone else ever tried doing anything different with the front end ? if so show some pics ! ... mine hast come up spectacular but its the same colour as the car and it fits so for me its good enough.

And before anyone says it ... YES IM GOING TO REPLACE THE NUMBER PLATES ... been bugging me all day !!!

either way ... opinions ??? i think the mesh looks pretty decent, and the V6 bumper definately suits the b3 front better than the standard bumpers ... had a productive day besides other unrelated problems ....

on the picture with the three cars together it looks a bit like a ur, the mesh looks pretty good imo, almost matches the grill

Looks good, V6 bumper is same as S2 but without the washer jets. I've got one on mine

Yeah man ! im look at getting a coupe of mock washer jets to stick in mine just for the effect ... thanks for the feedback peeps .. any otehr ideas around the car i could have a DIY at ?

Only subtle ones - clear indicator lenses & later type (red) rear lamp clusters Like the mesh grill

Great workmanship on the restoration! And what a deal... wish I could find them here for that cheap!

Only thing that detracts from the effect, to my eye, is the bumper mesh is different than the grille so looks out of place. Again, it's subtle, but is what I notice.

Is that a re-worked V6 Bumper ? colour coded and with some sort of seperations on the bottom grille part ? looks really nice actually !...

As for my front grille ... i did start to have a think about what i could do, but i dont wanna start hacksawing and glueing ive seen an aftermarket grille on a couple of B3's i think its Kamei, but i cant find one anywhere ... any ideas about aftermarket grilles ?

It is a reworked V6 bumper. I didn't want the headlight washers.

I wanted grills to match the hood grill. They cut it at the edge, dropped the front 1 1/2 inches. The center posts are surfboard foam. They bent aluminum rod to the outline of the lower grill areas, JB welded the fabric to the bent rods, and then powder coated them. The grills are held in by small machine screws, with small L brackets behind the grills.

We over here, did not get any aftermarket bumpers, so I would have no idea where you could find the bumper you are looking for.

Looks ace ! .. ive just recieved my new front grille through the post, its an RS2 style mesh that fits a B3 front. Will fit this afternoon and put some pics up :tup:
