What wheels are the 7" Ronals?

S2s came with 2 different wheels. The early cars got a five spoke 7J x 16H2 ET37 wheel, code C4G. The later cars got the C5T 7.5Jx16 ET37 Avus like the UrS6s (and some UrS4s). The first photo shows the S2 five spoke C4G wheel, the second the rare S2 sedan sporting the C5T Avus wheels.

The 5 spoke on early S2 were made by Ronal and are forged.

Okay. So the early ABY S2s, including the S2 avants, came with the 7Jx16 five spoke Ronals. (I think I knew that ). Need to update my wheel code post.

Also worth notice is that this one has Date of production: 17.09.1993, but Model year 1994. There is no sign of any crash damage anywhere so I believe that the front lights have been like that or they have been changed while being stolen.

The model year typically starts in July or August of the preceeding year and runs until June of the nominal model year, i.e. the "1993" B4 "8C" A80Qs (including the S2s sedans and avants) were built from June 1, 1992 until July 31, 1993. The "94" B4 "8C"s were built from August 1, 1993 until late August 1994 (last of that body style and they let the build run for 13 months).

I thought you said the VIN had been "modified"? In any event, according to the VIN records for the B4 "8C" cars 32911 was built in August 1993 (probably the 3rd week because the last August built car was 33244). So quite early in the run, could have still had the early run "features" instead of the later run features.

Yes, but that is the correct one.

Similar age to my first S2 which had Avus wheels, amber indicators and the H4 headlamps.
