try to hold around a rotating axel with your hand...( NOT recomending) then you will understand...and whnd the bearing contacting the rotating steel, the hot spot will ocuur... and the steel will rise a litle bit.. rember the oiltemp are around 400 degrees between the bearing and ther steel( crank)... so lack of oil, or too heavy contact together.. the con rod WILL bend or break...very high speed on the conrods....

Ecu has 250Kpa MAP sensor with custom remap to 1.5 bar, also switchable to stock map 0.8 bar. Motor also has 7a cam, 044 fuel pump, fedanza flywheel with uprated clutch.
Took the head off it this morning, no valve damage and to my surprise there seams to be no cracking between the valves. Engine done 86k. So on the look out for a new block now1986 urquattro 20v 3b

Measure the hight of one of the Cam lobes with a micrometer.
27mm is a 7A Exhaust off the top of my head.
Get in touch with DETROITPISTON on here for a replacement engine.
He has a 3B sat on a pallet doing nothing probably in front of his TV in the lounge.
He never likes selling anything but I guess if you don't ask you never know.
