        I've seen an RS4 on the ramp at my local Audi specialist where I get some of my work done.. Aren't those two turbos really hard to get at?

          Well, stage 1 is done for now hit 275 kph on the highway next to me, I'm happy. I could have done more but I didn't want to take too much risk...

          Thanks for your posts guys

          BTW, turbos out means engine out on the 2.7T... oh well... gives you time to do clutch and associated bits and pieces

          cheers,

                      @ski: nope, it's a Torsen. the 4 motion-haldex system is only used in transverse-mounted engines, the 2.7T in the S4 is a longitudinal-mounted engine.

                      if it were a haldex, I wouldn't have bought the car...

                        Congratulations on your new purchase.

                        I hope you are changing brakes and suspension together with hp

                        Off-Topic:

                        I started the S2 today with all the new hardware including your ECU and it iddles perfectly, tic the accelerator twice and everything looks perfect.

                        Still a piece of the exhaust missing so wont be able to drive it for a few days.
                        Thanks for your work.

                              Thanks to you guys!

                              The S4 has indeed the same quattro/center diff as the S2. The rear diff is not manually lockable, it has EDS (electronic differential locking) which is ABS-operated that applies the brakes on a spinning wheel. Still better than ASR/ESP, which my car doesn't have.

                              Cheers,
