Are chinos the clothes of choice for the S2 driver then. If I had known that I would have got something else.

No mate they seem fine. 2 coats by sponge 3 coats by air brush 3 coats of clear cover laquer by air brush too. Seems very colourfast. The company has good reputation.

Might do carpet. Will be sorting the grey plastic next.

Morning all. Thought I would write a little update for this as have been fiddling. I have been having dreaded boost cut problems for a few weeks even after fitting another intercooler (this ones still leaking but I am going to try and locate the leak and repair it) and temp sensor issues. Tried hunting round and have changed the mfts as this was also knackered but did not cure the cuts. Then discovered some corroded terminals on the oil temp and pressure switch which once cleaned sorted the cuts so it's all running as it should. Also had a leaking fuel tank from the basket on top so got a new one from a mate at VW and fitted that as well. Yesterday's issue was the fuel range showing empty with quarter of a tank, so after some research as to what to do I brimmed the tank and removed the plug on the clocks and reset the fuel levels back to 640 and put the gauge to full. Next will be more cleaning to get it right and a machine polish.

You can machine polish mine Jim for all the boost pressure tests and bring flukey and finding the n75 fault. Ha ha
