[QUOTE=UrS4boy;834624]Thanks. I know what the blue and silver 4HP-18 tag is all about. However, I don't know what this A 100 tag means. Where is it located?
I will take another picture from further away and discribe where it is
From what I've been told it's around the seam in the middle. Yours look pretty good, put some rust treatment on it and a good coat of underseal and it should be fine.
You know you can cut and splice ABS sensors? Done this on the S2, the rears are longer than the fronts and I couldn't find a good rear anywhere, so I just cut the cable off the old rear and joined it to a good front sensor

Here's the S4 fuel tank, going by the stickers, i would think its a replacement????
All (most that I have found) big C4 Audi parts have part number stickers on them, even when they will never see the light of day after they leave the factory.
That 4A0201075A fuel tank will be an original, not a replacement. 4A0201075A was replaced on 01/03/2002 with 4A0201075L. 4A0201075L is listed as the replacement fuel tank for the C3 as far back as 1985 and the C4 as late as the last cars built in 1997, including the S6plus. It is also the V8 replacement fuel tank.
I say "is" like it exists in the warehouse. Probably dreaming, long gone as NLA.

This tank does look in good nick, thats why i thought it might be a replacement, So i just need to get rid of the rust and apply treatment, some more work to do in the evenings.
I've got quite a few old sensors so i will probably give it a go, i like to have all the correct mounting lugs. I will be able to slide them onto the new / replacement sensor wire
